Terms of Service

Last Updated: October 8, 2026

Welcome to Syderea.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Syderea mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

Syderea is currently operated by Alberto Alejandro Garcia Ramirez.

By creating an account, accessing, or using Syderea, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. About Syderea

Syderea is a social platform that allows users to create profiles, share Stars and other content, create and participate in Starspaces, follow other users, interact with content, and discover content and people.

Syderea may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service from time to time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Syderea, unless a higher minimum age is required by the laws applicable to you.

By using Syderea, you represent that:

If you are below the minimum age permitted in your jurisdiction, you may not use Syderea.

3. Your Account

Some Syderea features require an account.

You are responsible for:

You may not impersonate another person, create an account using another person's identity without authorization, or intentionally misrepresent your affiliation with another person or organization.

We reserve the right to restrict usernames or account names that are misleading, impersonating, offensive, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate.

4. User Content

Syderea allows users to create and upload content, including Stars, photographs, voice notes and other audio recordings, comments, profile information, and content associated with Starspaces ("User Content").

You retain ownership of User Content that you create, subject to the rights you grant to Syderea in these Terms.

You are solely responsible for the User Content you post.

You represent and warrant that:

5. License to Syderea

When you submit User Content to Syderea, you grant Syderea a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, process, display, transmit, distribute, and otherwise use that User Content solely as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, maintain, improve, promote, and secure the Service.

This license allows Syderea to display your content according to the visibility settings you choose.

For example, if you publish a Star publicly, Syderea needs permission to display that Star to other users and through features such as Explore.

If you place content in a private profile or private Starspace, Syderea may process and display that content to the users who are authorized to access it.

The license does not transfer ownership of your User Content to Syderea.

The license ends within a reasonable period after you delete your User Content or account, except where content or copies must reasonably be retained for legal, security, backup, dispute-resolution, or other legitimate purposes.

6. Public and Private Content

Syderea allows users to control the visibility of certain content.

Public Content

Public content may be visible to anyone using Syderea and may be displayed through discovery features such as Explore, public profiles, and public Starspaces.

Private Content

Private profiles and private Starspaces are intended to restrict access.

Private profile content may be visible to approved followers.

Private Starspaces may be visible or accessible only to members who have been invited or otherwise authorized by the owner.

However, you understand that privacy controls cannot prevent another authorized user from copying, photographing, screenshotting, recording, or otherwise redistributing content they are able to view.

You should therefore exercise care when sharing sensitive or confidential information.

7. Following and Social Interactions

Syderea may allow users to follow one another and interact through likes, comments, memberships, invitations, and other features.

Syderea does not guarantee that another user will accept a follow request, invitation, or interaction.

Users may block, restrict, unfollow, report, or otherwise limit interactions where those features are available.

8. Starspaces

Users may create Starspaces and determine whether a Starspace is public or private, subject to the functionality provided by Syderea.

Starspace owners may invite users to private Starspaces and may remove members where the Service permits.

Starspace owners are responsible for the content and activity they permit within their spaces, but Syderea retains the right to review, restrict, remove, or take other action regarding content or spaces that violate these Terms or applicable law.

Syderea may change the functionality, limits, or availability of Starspaces at any time.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use Syderea to:

This list is not exhaustive. Syderea may take action against conduct that is reasonably inconsistent with the safety, security, or intended purpose of the Service.

10. Content Moderation and Reporting

Syderea provides reporting and flagging mechanisms intended to help users identify potentially inappropriate content.

Stars, profiles, Starspaces, and other User Content may be reported regardless of whether they are public or private.

Syderea may use a combination of:

Automated systems may make mistakes. A report or automated flag does not necessarily mean that content violates these Terms.

Syderea may, in its discretion and subject to applicable law:

We do not guarantee that every violation will be detected or that every report will result in action.

11. Intellectual Property

The Syderea application, website, software, branding, logos, design, interfaces, features, and other materials provided by Syderea are owned by Syderea or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from Syderea's proprietary materials without permission.

"Syderea" and associated branding may not be used in a way that suggests an unauthorized relationship, sponsorship, or endorsement.

If you believe content available through Syderea infringes your copyright, you may contact us at:

support@syderea.com

Please provide sufficient information for us to understand:

Syderea may remove or restrict allegedly infringing content while investigating a complaint and may take other action as appropriate.

Where applicable, Syderea may respond to copyright notices and counter-notices in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and other applicable law.

13. Future Features and Paid Services

Syderea may introduce additional features in the future, including paid features, subscriptions, creator tools, premium Starspaces, paid access, or other monetization programs.

If such features become available, additional terms, pricing, payment conditions, refund policies, or creator agreements may apply.

Nothing in these Terms guarantees that any particular feature, monetization program, subscription, or payment system will be introduced or remain available.

Where Syderea permits users or creators to charge for access to content or spaces, Syderea may establish additional rules regarding eligibility, fees, revenue sharing, payments, refunds, taxes, prohibited transactions, and account requirements.

14. Third-Party Services

Syderea may rely on third-party services to provide infrastructure, authentication, cloud storage, diagnostics, image analysis, security, payment processing, or other functionality.

Third-party services may have their own terms and policies.

Syderea is not responsible for the independent acts, policies, availability, or practices of third-party services that Syderea does not control.

15. Availability and Changes to Syderea

We work to keep Syderea available and functioning, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Syderea may experience interruptions because of maintenance, technical problems, security incidents, third-party service failures, network problems, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any portion of the Service at any time.

We may also introduce limits on certain features or functionality.

16. Account Suspension and Termination

You may stop using Syderea at any time.

Syderea may suspend or terminate your account or restrict access to the Service if we reasonably believe that you:

We may also terminate or restrict accounts where reasonably necessary to protect Syderea, its users, or third parties.

Where appropriate and reasonably possible, we may provide notice before taking enforcement action. However, immediate action may be necessary in cases involving safety, illegal activity, security threats, serious abuse, or other urgent circumstances.

17. Disclaimers

Syderea is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Syderea makes no warranties that:

You are responsible for evaluating User Content and interactions with other users.

Syderea does not endorse or guarantee statements, opinions, advice, or content posted by users.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Syderea and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Syderea's total liability arising from or relating to the Service will be limited to the greater of:

  1. The amount you paid to Syderea for the Service during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or
  2. One hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded under applicable law.

19. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Syderea and its operator from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:

This provision does not apply to the extent that the claim results from Syderea's own unlawful conduct or liability that cannot legally be shifted to you.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled in a court of competent jurisdiction located in California, unless applicable law requires a different forum.

Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from exercising rights that cannot lawfully be waived under the laws applicable to that consumer.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Syderea develops, new features are introduced, or applicable laws change.

When material changes are made, we may provide notice through the Service or by other reasonable means.

The "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms indicates when they were most recently revised.

Your continued use of Syderea after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.

22. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

23. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Syderea Privacy Policy and any additional terms expressly incorporated into the Service, constitute the agreement between you and Syderea regarding your use of the Service.
