No online service can guarantee absolute privacy. Content may be copied, photographed, screenshotted, or otherwise shared by people who have access to it.
4. Reports, Flags, and Moderation
Syderea is designed to allow users to report or flag content they believe violates our rules or is inappropriate.
Public and private content—including Stars, profiles, and Starspaces—may be reported or flagged.
When content or an account is reported, we may collect and use information associated with the report to investigate the issue and determine whether action is appropriate.
Depending on the circumstances, Syderea may:

- Restrict content visibility
- Restrict access to a Starspace
- Remove a user from a Starspace
- Suspend or terminate an account
- Restrict particular features

We may retain information about moderation actions where reasonably necessary for safety, legal, security, or operational purposes.
5. Information Sharing
We do not share personal information with third parties except as reasonably necessary to operate Syderea, provide requested services, maintain security, comply with law, or otherwise as described in this Privacy Policy.

These services may process information necessary to provide authentication, database, cloud storage, crash reporting, application infrastructure, and automated image analysis.
Information processed by these providers is subject to their own terms and privacy practices in addition to this Privacy Policy.
We do not authorize service providers to use Syderea user information for purposes unrelated to providing services to Syderea except where permitted or required by applicable law.
6. Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
Syderea does not currently sell your personal information for monetary consideration.
Syderea also does not currently operate a program that intentionally shares personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If our practices change in a manner that creates additional legal disclosure or opt-out requirements, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notices or choices required by applicable law.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Syderea and its features, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and protect our legitimate interests.
The length of time information is retained may vary depending on the type of information and why it was collected.
For example, information associated with an active account may be retained while the account remains active. Certain information may need to be retained for longer periods when necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary for these purposes, we may delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it.
8. Account Deletion
You may delete your Syderea account directly through the application by going to:
Settings → Account → Delete Account
You may also request account deletion by contacting:
What gets deleted: your profile, username, profile photo, Stars (including images and voice notes), comments, likes, follows, Constellations, and Starspaces you own.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a deletion request.
Some information may be retained where required or permitted by law, or where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, enforcement of our agreements, or other legitimate purposes.
Deleting an account may also result in the deletion or removal of content associated with that account, although copies may remain in backups or records for a limited period before being overwritten or deleted.
If you are unable to access the in-app deletion feature, you may contact us at support@syderea.com for assistance with your deletion request.

California law also recognizes certain opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control ("GPC"), where applicable.
Because Syderea is currently a small, independently operated service, not every provision of the CCPA/CPRA necessarily applies to Syderea at all times. We nevertheless intend to honor applicable privacy rights and will respond to valid requests as required by law.

Syderea is intended for people 13 years of age or older, unless a higher minimum age is required by the laws applicable to you.
We do not knowingly permit children under 13 to create or maintain accounts where doing so would violate applicable law.
If you are under the minimum age required to use Syderea in your jurisdiction, you should not create an account or provide personal information to us.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 in circumstances where applicable law requires parental consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.
If you believe a child under the applicable minimum age has provided information to Syderea, please contact us at:
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
These measures may include access controls, authentication systems, cloud infrastructure security, and automated monitoring and moderation tools.
However, no method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that information will always be completely secure.
12. Third-Party Services and Links
Syderea may rely on third-party services to provide infrastructure, authentication, storage, diagnostics, image analysis, and other functionality.
Syderea may also contain links or references to services operated by third parties.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services that we do not control. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of those services before providing information to them.
13. International Users
Syderea may be accessed by users outside the United States.
If you use Syderea from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where Syderea or its service providers operate.
Privacy protections in those locations may differ from those in your country or region.
By using Syderea, you understand that information may be processed in jurisdictions outside your country, subject to applicable legal requirements.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as Syderea develops, our practices change, or applicable laws change.
When we make material changes, we may provide notice through the Service or by other reasonable means.
The "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy indicates when it was most recently revised.
Your continued use of Syderea after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means that you acknowledge the updated policy, to the extent permitted by law.
